The terminal area, 110 ha, is divided in to 6 modules, equipped with 12.500 ground slots, 500 reefer slosts and 500 dangerous goods slots. The area i salso equipped with a railway terminal (with a capacity of 120 trains per week) which is directly linked to the national and cargo dedicated net which is fit for the transport of HC containers; 20.000 sqm (of which 5.000 sqm directly managed by VTE) are dedicated to warehouse, reefers containers, inspections and CFS activities, truck gate directly linked, by a reserved acces, to the national highway. VTE is also equipped with a wide back port area (20.000 sqm and 7.000 sqm of offices). Thanks to this areas VTE can offer many value added services in the field of logistics and distribution.

The continuois investment in equipment and technologies allows VTE to keep an important role in the connection of overseas port, in particular with Far East, and with the markets of Southern Europe. This allows VTE to satisfy the growing demand in services of its own customers.

VTE is equipped with 10 quay cranes (8 post panamax, 16 rows, 50 tons lifting capacity e 2 super post panamax, 18rows outreach), 8 rail tracks, 950 m/each worked by 3 RMG, 23 RTG and 31 Reach stackers.
